FAQs

PURCHASING AND SENDING

Are there any fees associated with the delivery of an eVoucher?

No, delivery is free of charge so you just pay the face value of the eVoucher.

Can I change the value of an eVoucher after I have paid for it?

Unfortunately it is not possible to alter the value of the eVoucher after payment.

How do I cancel an order for an eVoucher?

If your eVoucher has not yet been delivered because you have selected a future delivery date, you can cancel by contacting customer services on 0371 384 3237. If the eVoucher has already been delivered, your purchase cannot be cancelled.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express & Maestro cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

What will appear on my card statement?

National Garden Gift Voucher orders are processed by Voucher Express. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as 'Voucher Express'.

Can I buy an eVoucher and have it sent to myself?

Yes, you can. Many customers choose to have the eVoucher sent to themselves so they can print it off and present it as a gift. All you need to do is input your address in the delivery email fields.

Can I buy eVouchers to re-sell?

No, re-sale of eVouchers sold via this website is strictly prohibited. If you have a business enquiry regarding the purchase of eVouchers, please contact the corporate team so that they can take more details and obtain the necessary permissions. Please note also that the use of any National Garden imagery (including the logo) is prohibited unless you first obtain written permission from the corporate team.

RECEIVING AND REDEEMING

What does my recipient receive?

On your specified delivery date, your recipient will receive an email containing your gift message and a link to download their eVoucher. They will need to correctly confirm their email address to download it. Once, they have confimed their email address, they will be presented with the eVoucher online and they will also be sent another email with a PDF of the eVoucher attached, which they can print off.

Where and how can an eVoucher be redeemed?

A National Garden Gift Voucher can be used as full or part payment for products purchased from participating garden retailers in the United Kingdom.  To find your local participating garden retailers, please click here.

The eVoucher contains a barcode and it can be redeemed in-store at participating garden retailers by either presenting your mobile or a print out of the eVoucher at the checkout.

How long is an eVoucher valid for?

National Garden Gift Vouchers will expire after 30 months. Once the eVoucher has expired any remaining funds will be lost.

Will the eVoucher be ready to spend straight away?

Yes, once you or your recipient collects the eVoucher, it will be ready to use straight away!

Please note that all orders are security checked for your protection. Most orders are passed through without any delay, however on occasion we may need to check your order in more detail. This can take up to 12 hours and you or your recipient will not be able to collect the eVoucher until this is completed.

SECURITY AND RELIABILITY

How do I know that my recipient has actually received their eVoucher?

You will receive an email to confirm when your recipient has collected their eVoucher.

What happens if my printed eVoucher is stolen or copied?

Once you have downloaded your eVoucher, it is your responsibility to safeguard it against theft and it should be treated like cash. If some one else redeems it in full, your copy will no longer have any value. If you suspect that someone may have copied or stolen your eVoucher, please contact the Customer Services team immediately as any value that has not been redeemed can be blocked and a new eVoucher can be issued to you.
